Vamoose has the ability to instantly convert the gaseous molecules, or the odor, into non-volatile inert salts that are non-odorous. It also dissolves on contact the tar residue that is the source of the odor without causing damage to fabrics, hard surfaces, carpet, wood, leather and other materials that are inundated with odor caused by cigarette and other kinds of tobacco smoke. No other product has this capability.

A sticky or tacky residue can result when larger quantities of the product are used or when other cleaning products were used prior to the Vamoose application that prevents it from drying completely. Vamoose is water-soluble and can easily by wiped off using a warm damp towel. It is very important to allow twenty-four to thirty-six hours before attempting any follow-up cleaning.

One way is that the cigarette or tobacco odor will disappear. Also, one may detect an odor created by the product dissolving the tar residue; we call this the conversion odor. The intensity of this conversion odor is proportionate to the challenge level of the tar deposits...the more tar, the stronger the odor. This conversion odor does dissipate fairly quickly but is evidence that the product is working correctly. 

When this product comes into contact with the latent tar residue, it immediately starts dissolving the tar, which creates an odor as it’s off gassing; this odor is referred to as the conversion odor. The intensity and actual odor is proportionate to the challenge of tar residue that is being converted and has been described as a vinegar-like smell to a stronger sulfur-like smell. This conversion odor does dissipate fairly quickly.
